Basic: single-color texture

One main color with the textured overlay. A pattern, border, coping treatment, or other detail pictured in a color example is a separate design choice.

Take the finish a step further.

03 · Decorative upgrade

Pair the deck color with an accent.

Nine named combinations from the lookbook show how a main color works with a contrasting line or accent. Choose a pairing now; King Pools will confirm the pattern, coverage and price with you.

Each caption lists the main deck color first and the line/accent color second. SUNDEK labels that second color “grout” in the lookbook. These are manufacturer examples, not King Pools installations.

04 · Bring the materials together

Plan the pool edge with the deck.

The lookbook shows coating treatments around pool edges as well as decks. Coordinate the border, coping and waterline tile before approving a layout.

A brick- or stone-look coating is a finish treatment. Actual stone coping, travertine pavers and pool tile remain separate material selections.

Before the final approval

Turn the inspiration into your project plan.

Confirm the surface.

King Pools needs to check the concrete, drainage, existing coatings and repair scope before confirming an overlay installation.

Approve the physical sample.

Screen colors and photographs vary with lighting and texture. Confirm the main color, accent color, pattern size and border width together.

Confirm the upgrade quote.

Get the preparation, selected treatment, installation scope and additional cost in writing. A saved design preference does not authorize a charge.
